Our weekly seminars are a pillar of my current role. My favorite part is creating promotional materials and promoting the event! I also create promotional materials for all departmental events. I have created brand guidelines that I stick to using a brand kit.
Appalachian State University Capstone Project
Our objective was to raise money for River Girl Fishing Co., a local company that attracted tourists to the area. Our team came together and helped raise $1,500, 100% of this went to River Girl.
My role:
I managed the marketing for this project, from composing mass email communication to coordinating print and digital marketing, as well as creating promotional materials.
I also created a website with logistical information for event patrons.
Conclusion: We raised enough money for River Girl to purchase a new boat to replace what they lost during the flood! I thrive working on a team as a marketer.
